SUMMARY: We are looking for an energetic, highly-driven technical business development professional to drive the technical sales of SolidWorks Products. Working out of the Dassault Systèmes Singapore office, the TTM is responsible for developing and establishing relationships with strategic customers & prospects of the SolidWorks VAR’s in South East Asia and Middle East. Reporting to the Asia Pacific Technical Director, it is the Territory Technical Manager’s responsibility to insure that customers / prospects receive the benefits of a SolidWorks solution to their multi-seat networked CAD needs. Working with VAR’s, Solution Partners, and OEM’s, the Territory Technical Manager is responsible for insuring the integration of the SolidWorks solution and addressing the customer’s design automation requirements over multiple locations.
JOB DESCRIPTION: Provides sales support to the reseller channel for SolidWorks Products. Co-ordinates pre- and post-sales efforts related to SolidWorks Products both within SolidWorks and in the reseller channel.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provides dealers with technical training.

Performs product demonstrations for SolidWorks Products for dealers at customer locations.

Presents SolidWorks Products at trade shows and exhibitions.

Organizes and runs seminars for dealers and to generate sales.

Provides pre-sales support for prospects testing SolidWorks software.
- Manages the reseller channel with respect to SolidWorks Products. Sales oriented and creative to find new market segments an develop them for SolidWorks Products
OTHER DUTIES: Acts as a liaison between Dassault Systèmes SolidWorks Corp and Dassault Systèmes Singapore. Occasionally provides pre-sales support for other SolidWorks Products, particularly at tradeshows
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: BS degree in engineering, (preferably mechanical) is required. Minimum three years experience selling and supporting 3D CAD, PDM, Simulation.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.

Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.

Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from customers, VARS and Dassault Systèmes in English.

Ability to apply advanced CAD concepts such as 2D, 3D, Translators, and Solution Partners.

Advanced experience in implementing CAD-concepts. • Basic knowledge in Windows OS or Windows Office Components

Ability to manage, handle and control implementation projects and evaluation projects.

Ability to detect technical objectives and deliver arguments to the advantage of SolidWorks.

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, SWX-files, or on-site with the customers.

Knowledge of the Mechanical Design Automation / CAE / MCAD market is very strongly preferred.

Experience of technical selling products competitive to SolidWorks is a plus.

Actual design work experience with CAD systems, especially SolidWorks, is a big plus.

Must be willing to travel 50 - 75%.

Ability to function in a team atmosphere, appreciate aggressive goals, and have superior organizational / time management skills and a make-it-happen attitude.
