About the Knowledge Base
The Knowledge Base is a collection of common solutions and issues that can help answer your questions and issues.
The following tips will help you better understand and use the Knowledge Base (KB) search:
- Use simple phrases and terms. You want to find a number of different topics from all the data sources listed. Inserting long phrases does not always produce better search results.
- The only wildcard characters used are "" and *. The "" will search for the exact phase within the search results. The * is used to search for related words (i.e., Win* would return Windows, WinNT, Window, etc.).
- Use the Refine your Search option to filter your results based on the current results. This is called guided navigation, as the values change dynamically based on your search terms and selected filters.
- You can add or remove filters to change your search results.
